Internal Energy Market (Communication)

The implementation of the Third Energy Package by way of infringement proceedings strengthens competition and allows for a level playing field in the internal energy market. Capacity mechanisms can in fact lead to partitioning in the internal energy market and thus distort decisions made regarding choice of business location; this requires action on the part of the Commission.
