Our traffic lights system
The individual directives and proposals of EU legislative projects are assessed visually using the three traffic light colours red, yellow and green. The traffic light system has established itself as a trademark of the Centre for European Policy (cep) since the think tank was founded. In addition to the detailed analyses, it provides a quick overview.

The policy intention can be implemented with the described changes.
The policy intention must be revised and can be implemented only with the described changes.
The policy intention is very questionable and should, if at all, only be implemented with the described changes.
The policy intention should not be implemented in any case.
