Attesting the safety-critical competences of train crew (Report)

The freedom of movement for train crew employees is not restricted under the current legal position in the Member States. As the Commission admits, it has no proof that there is any restriction on the freedom of movement of train crew employees. The EU-wide mandatory certification of safety-critical qualifications of train crew will only result in additional costs.
