Digital Cross-border Transmission of TV and Radio (Regulation)

The country of origin principle and mandatory collective management, provided for in the Regulation, facilitate the EU-wide cross-border transmission of television and radio programmes. The proposed country of origin principle, however, is disproportionate and therefore breaches the freedom to conduct a business and right to property.
